Gi Masters, LLC is an American based company dedicated to producing the finest quality martial arts uniforms in the world. Sensei Greg Shanks, Rita Shanks, and Sensei Michael Crump saw a need for high quality martial arts uniforms for people of odd shapes and sizes; so, in 2006, they established Gi Masters as a small home business in order to full fill this need. However, with the explosion of martial arts–also, the fact that no one offers uniforms for big and tall, custom embroidery and such a high quality uniform–this small business to soon become a force in the martial arts community.

Gi Masters' specializes in the manufacture of custom uniforms for individuals who do not meet the sizing requirements of the mass-produced uniforms made by our competitors. Also, Gi Masters uniforms are for individuals who want to make sure that their uniform is made by an artisan, and not produced by slave labor in a third world country. Most importantly, Gi Masters' uniforms are for individuals who want extremely high quality.

We accomplish these goals by first custom cutting and sewing each uniform on a per order basis. In other words, your new uniform will be made specifically for you. Second, we produce all of our uniforms in the USA by paid artisans. Third, we use master martial arts uniform artisans (we call Gi Masters) to produce each uniform. By doing these things we ensure that our uniforms are the highest quality, best fitting, and most socially conscience uniforms on the market today.

We you buy a Gi Masters uniform you are not just buying another uniform. You are making a statement of your dedication to the principles of the martial arts–that is being the best you can be at all times. It is easy to win when you are stronger, faster and have extreme advantage over your conflicts. However, a true martial artist learns to die gracefully no matter what the circumstance.
